A.Y. Cole, Sr., 78, of Athens, died on March 12, 2015. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Smith Cole; daughters, Theodora Smith, Cassandra Thomas; sons, A.Y. (Andrew Mohammad) Cole, Jr., Rodney Cole, Rivington Cole; sister, Mary Helen Favors, grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 17, from the Coy C. Williamson, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Gardenview, with interment in East lawn Memorial Cemetery.
