Betty J. Maddox, 81, of Athens, died on August 26, 2015. Survivors include her daughters, Gwendolyn Johnson and Khaleelah Hameed; sons, Willie, Ronnie, Anthony, Larry and Wayne Maddox; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M on TUESDAY, September 1, from the Chapel at Gardenview, with interment in the East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Family visitation will be SUNDAY, August 30 from 2:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M, public viewing will be MONDAY, August 31 from 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.
