Cynthia Futch Epps, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2025—her 69th birthday. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, April 26, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Elberton, Georgia (1156 Willie Black Rd., Elberton GA ), where she was a devoted member.
Cindy was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Jesse Epps; her brothers, Ricky Futch and Jimmy Futch; and her sister, Chris Sims. She is survived by her three daughters, Kayla Epps, Katherin Epps, and Angelina Epps, along with her cherished grandsons, Kurt McCurley and Noah McCurley.
Throughout her life, Cindy found joy in faith and her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her family, friends, and community. Her deep involvement in her daughters’ lives—from leading their Girl Scout troop to attending airport shows and enjoying weekend trips to the lake—was a testament to her boundless love and devotion. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. Cindy was a kind and generous person who never hesitated to help someone in need.
Cindy was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
