Felicia Pope

Mrs. Felicia Gwené Faust Pope was born on March 3, 1972, in Athens, Georgia, to

Charles Faust and Virginia Roach Faust. She was raised in a close-knit and loving

family, surrounded by her two brothers and a loving circle of cherished cousins, aunts,

uncles, and grandparents. Family was at the heart of Felicia’s life, and the relationships

she formed with those closest to her and remained a source of love, joy, and strength.

Felicia graduated class of 1990 from Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, Georgia. In

pursuit of better opportunities, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she united with

her Auntie “Louise”. In search of a new church home, Felicia joined the Atlanta Church

of Christ, where she found not only a church family, but also the love of her life, Dr.

Burrell Pope. In September 1995, Felicia and Burrell Pope joined in holy matrimony,

beginning a 30-year journey of love, partnership, laughter, faith, and devotion. Together,

they built a life and a legacy rooted in family, faith, and an unwavering love for one

another. From that love came their daughter, Alicia, their greatest shared blessing, and

Felicia embraced motherhood with the same devotion and tenderness she brought to

every relationship she treasured.

In her professional journey, Felicia built a career marked by ambition, determination,

and an entrepreneurial spirit. She climbed the real estate ladder and earned her

bachelor’s degree in business, continually seeking new ways to grow and create

opportunities. In 2017, Felicia and her husband began Pope Care Transportation

Service, followed by Better Care 4 You which were both inspired by her own experience

caring for her late mother, Virginia Roach Faust.

Her dedication to caring for others, coupled with her natural drive to build, create, and

explore new opportunities, perfectly embodied the spirit behind her beloved nickname,

“Fee the Busy Bee.” In 2021, Felicia returned to real estate and, alongside her husband,

ventured into real estate development. Living up to her name, “Fee the Busy Bee”

continued to pursue new ideas and interests, eventually launching a podcast and

another business FABI. Whether building a business, exploring a new endeavor, or

simply sharing her thoughts with others, Felicia approached life with curiosity, passion,

and an enthusiasm that was uniquely her own.

Felicia departed this earth on August 7, 2026, and rests alongside those who went

before her, including her parents Charles Faust and Virginia Roach Faust; six uncles

Julian Faust, Hermann Faust, Ruffus Frank Roach, Jr., Stevie B. Roach, Bennie Faust,

and Leon Faust; and niece Darjae Carter.

Her legacy of love will live on through her husband Dr. Burrell Pope; daughter Alicia

Pope; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy and Joyce Wilson, two brothers

Corey Faust and Tedferey Faust; two sisters, Jocelyn Hitchcock and Laytoya Hitchcock;

two sisters in-law Charlyn Carter and Melissa Manuel (Rodney); five uncles, James

Faust, Johnny Faust, Willie Lee Faust, Anthony Bruce Roach, and Jeffery Roach; three

aunties Nell Wymbs (Willie), Deloris Milton, and Hattie Heflin; five nephews Austravious

Faust, Christropher Faust, Rodney Manuel, Bricen Manuel, and Caleb Faust; eight

nieces Andrenise Faust, Maya Gregory, Janita Carter, Searra Mais, Tedreanna Faust,

and Cheyenne Carter; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
