Gerald “Jake” Strong of Athens, GA passed away on January 31, 2023 in the comfort of his home.
He is survived by his wife Michelle Strong; daughters Kendra Eady and Adriane (Gentries) Miller; granddaughters Janae Miller and Jurnee Miller; step children Victoria Robinson, Jonathan Robinson, and Jeremy Robinson; step grandson Taylen Thompson; siblings Jerry Strong, Henry Lee (Diane) Strong, Waymon (Rosetta) Strong, Sherry (Ed) Arnold, Lamar Strong, Robert (Sherry) Strong, Daniel Strong, and Terry (Shellice) Strong. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and his best friend, Kappa.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Elnora Strong and brother Larry (Joyce) Strong.
A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends only.
