Maxine was born in Ben Hill, Georgia to J.C and Rhudene Calhoun. She enjoyed her life to the fullest and was wonderfully devoted to her seven children; Tyree Wright of Athens, Georgia,, Shannon Wright of Athens, Georgia, Monica Haynes Ray of jonesboro, Georgia, Tiffany Haynes of Athens, Georgia, and Cassandra Wright of Athens,Georgia. Two sons; Michael Wright of Athens, Georgia, amd Jonathan Wright, five brothers; Rufus Calhoun , Donnie Calhoun, Dexter Calhoun, Victor Calhoun, and Ricky Calhoun. Three sisters; Retanza Wheeler, Carolyn Turner, and Pamela Calhoun,. Twelve loving grandkids, and a host of nieces and nephews, friends, and family.
