Melvin Carnelious Geter, II was born on February 19, 1949,the first of three, to the late Melvin and Lucy Etta ThorntonGeter in Elberton, Georgia. He was educated in the public schools of Elbert County. On December 18, 2025, he made his transition from this earth to eternal rest.
Homegoing services for Mr. Melvin Carnelious Geter, II will be held from the East Friendship Baptist Church, 480 Arch Street in Athens, GA on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11 A.M.
